Offered here is this Antique Tower of London Collectible Tour Book. It was published by Gale & Polden Ltd, and cost one shilling. I am unsure of the actual age of the book, but it has a handwritten inscription from its previous owner that is dated 1929. The booklet is unfortunately not in particularly good condition. It has a lot of warbling and staining from moisture. The front and back covers are all but torn loose, and there are a lot of creases and small tears along the edges. The book is an interesting read, however, and features historical and descriptive notes by the Viscount Dillon, P.S.A, late Curator of Tower Armouries. The booklet is 8.5” top to bottom, and 11” wide when closed. It has many black and white photos, and a lot of history and interesting facts. It is a nice, antique collectible tour booklet. A must have for any antique tourism collection.
