I am unsure of the age or origins, or of the exact fiber content, but is made of what feels like a wool/acrylic blend. It is done is beautiful hues of purple, more purple and less blue than it appears in the photos. It is 51.5" long, including fringe, and 5" wide. It is a very nice ladies scarf, with a great pattern and color.
