THE BLACK DEVIL
A rider swung into the empty main street of Tinaja.
He was a striking picture in complete black. Dismounting swiftly, he strode toward the nearest building, a cardboard in his hand.
He tacked it to the wall and stepped back to stare at his own likeness....
It was a reward poster for the outlaw EL DIABLO NEGRO!
El Diablo Negro and cowpoke Perry Wayne were one and the same person.
Perry had come to Tinaja to blast out a clever and dangerous crook.
The only way he could do it was to use the crip- pling fear that the name of El Diablo struck in the hearts of men.
But Perry had to move fast and carefully.
His disguise as the infamous outlaw made him bullet bait for any gun-hawk who could get him in his sights!
