The Rack Support (RH) is an OEM part for Whirlpool dishwashers. It is the plastic right-hand side bracket that secures the upper rack assembly inside the washer cavity.
Causes of a damaged rack support include cracks or breaks from normal wear over extended use. Repeated impact from dishes loading/unloading can cause small stress fractures.
Symptoms of a faulty support include:
Loose or rattling upper dish rack during operation
Difficulty sliding racks in/out smoothly
Visible cracks or missing pieces on the support
