Lobelia 'Queen Victoria', a hybrid cardinalis, is a spectacular new hardy perennial. In addition to the scarlet-red flowers that appear on stiff stems this plant features alluring cherry bronze foliage. This variety has not yet been tested for upper northern states, but it does perform very well as an annual. For all other areas it is a beauty that returns year after year. A great source of nectar for hummingbirds. Works great as a cut flower. Not for human consumption.
