8 x 10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1960s animated Christmas-themed comedy short, FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, released in 1969 and produced by Rankin/Bass Productions.  A living snowman and a little girl struggle to elude a greedy magician who is after the snowman's magic hat.

"Fleeing from the threat of evaporation and a villainous magician, Frosty heads for the North Pole, accompanied by his little benefactress, Karen. Affixed to the bottom of the verso (which has subssequently come loose) is the original paper snipe that folds over and which describes the image. This photograph was most likely printed in 1985 when it was used to advertise a television broadcast on December 3, 1985. It is in very fine condition as shown.
