This great piece has a flaw. If you look at the neck of the container...there is a chip. This is one of the fantastic pottery animals from Oaxaca Mexico. Signed by Sergio Cabrera. Made in 1975. You can tell that it was oven cured...by the dark marks. Very unusual...and heavy. This folkart container is preloved...but it looks almost perfect to me.
