Changing color attribute

I am doing some editing to some T-shirts. I am not able to correct some of the colors. It is defaulting to light blue. I don’t want a color because in one instance there is no choice for the color that I have. I am attempting to eliminate the color all together from the attribute.

What am I not understanding?

One option…just click on the x next to the color..it should delete the color

but if not..go to Update Items as group (also known as batch edit)

Search Optimize put [[[URL removed] blue]] (in this format) in remove search attributes and color will be removed…I believe you can also batch edit it in Item traits also…

Also, I believe that the Aqua is changed to light blue, because that is what google will accept..It takes basic colors…
fushia=pink
teal= blues
aqua= light blue
etc…

you can put the actual color in title and description but for attributes the basic color groups is what is accepted…

I tried all of this and it still is showing the light blue. I think I’m going to delete and put up a new one and not even choose a color. Thanks!!

Well, I tried to start from scratch without choosing a color and it is still saying light blue. Sigh!
